1st example

Everyone who has been gifted or honored with some kind of influence over people should use it for the benefit of the people. A good example of this, would be singer Christina Aguilera, whos artistry has been many times negatively criticized, has done admirable philanthropic and humanitarian work. Aguilera, has worked with National Alliance of breast cancer research organizations, Missing Kids, Do Something, National Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Refuge UK. Contributes in the fight against AIDS as a spokesperson for MAC AIDS fund and in 2009 became the global spokesperson for World Hunger Relief. She was honored at Variety's annual "Power of Women" luncheon for her charitable causes.

It's about time we stop being so selfish just thinking about all the material things this world has to offer and start sharing and giving back!!

  1. Dont you believe that the first rule of celebrity is to be narcissistic? What I find interesting is after people complete their tour of self....they then decide to share their celeb stattus with others. Also, at times the celeb is paid to support these organizations (though the public is not aware). Is that appropriate?

  3. Maybe I'm being a little bit naive, but because of her dark past and the way I've seen her carry herself and interviews, I don't believe that is the case with this celebrity. She seems to have a passion towards abused women and feminism.
